MSP 20th Anniversary Celebration

· Tour of Campus and Memorial Hall. 03:00 PM-06:00 PM. Memorial Hall. Come see how UGA and MSP have evolved over the past 20 years by touring campus and Memorial Hall, the birthplace of Minority Services and Programs. Don’t forget to check out the MSP Hall of Peace and Revolution, a tribute to 17 African, Latino/a, Asian, Native and European Americans committed to issues of peace, revolution and social justice such as Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Wilma Mankiller, Sun Yat-Sen, Mahatma Gandhi and a host of others.

 

· Opening Lecture: Pioneers of The Past. 04:00 PM. UGA Chapel. Celebrate and honor the pioneers of MSP and the contributions of those who helped lay the foundation for its inception, growth and sustainability.  This will be a lecture you don’t want to miss!

 

· “Reflections” Reception. 08:00 PM-10:00 PM. UGA Botanical Gardens. Come reconnect with old friends and meet some new ones.  Enjoy light refreshments, performances by student organizations and reflections of MSP from past to present.

 

· Moonlight Mixer. 10:00 PM-12:00 AM. UGA Botanical Gardens. Meet, greet, mix, mingle, laugh and enjoy friends over food and dance. Jaspects will provide entertainment for the evening.
