Position Posting Opportunity
The Office of Institutional Diversity is excited to announce a new opportunity for UGA units to expand the reach of their faculty and staff position postings to a wider and more diverse audience.
With the support of the Provost’s Office, the Office of Institutional Diversity has purchased an institutional membership package with DiverseJobs, the online job posting site for Diverse: Issues in Higher Education, the flagship publication for diversity in higher education. DiverseJobs is a leading resource site for careers in academia, with over 25 years of success in expanding the pool of qualified candidates for colleges, universities, and higher education recruitment agencies in the US, Canada, and across the globe. DiverseJobs postings appear on the pages of the organization’s website as well as higher education social media sites and forums. Through special syndication relationships, postings also appear in the listings of publications across the nation, as well as job aggregation sites such as Indeed. Over 50,000 higher education job applicants visit DiverseJobs monthly.
Our institutional subscription to DiverseJobs allows UGA’s academic and administrative units to advertise unlimited job postings. Each individual listing will remain posted for 90 days, and may be reposted if the position is not filled. The University of Georgia profile also allows applicants to see all of the university’s postings in one central location. Units will have the ability to independently manage their postings and the Office of Institutional Diversity will provide backstop support to all units using this tool.
