The African American Cultural Center (AACC) exists to assist the University in its mission of creating an inclusive and welcoming environment for African American students. The Cultural Center provides a venue where students of the African Diaspora can network with one another, meet new people, learn about their cultural heritage and traditions, display their talents, and implement programs. The AACC also promotes academic excellence in all students through the Abeneefoo Kuo Honor Society and the Rite of Sankofa Graduation programs.

Graduate School

Prior to the formal establishment of the Graduate School, courses of postgraduate status were offered under the control of a faculty committee on graduate studies. In 1910, the formal organization of graduate studies into a Graduate School was authorized.

Hillel - Foundation for Jewish Life at UGA
Each year, roughly 2000 Jewish students arrive at the University of Georgia ready to grow, explore, and set the pattern for their adult lives. Hillel's challenge is to maximize the number of Jews "doing Jewish" by providing engaging and meaningful Jewish experiences for college students during these identity-forming years.
Responsible for inspiring this generation of Jewish college students, Hillel is a launch pad for Jewish activity, catering to the diverse interests of students on campus. It is known for its outstanding social, cultural and community service programs.

UGA Safe Space Program
UGA Safe Space is a campus-wide initiative offering a visible message of inclusion, acceptance, and support to lesbian, gay, bisexual, and transgender (LGBT) people in the University community. The program offers participants a 3.5 hour orientation to raise awareness and knowledge of LGBT issues and to suggest ways to serve as an ally to LGBT individuals.
