Leaders Engaged in Affirming Diversity (LEAD) is a year-long fellowship program that allows students to enhance their leadership competencies, explore various facets of diversity, and exhibit knowledge of diversity and inclusion leadership. LEAD Fellows review seminal and current literature on diversity and leadership, participate in class discussions on current issues, engage with local and national diversity leaders, maintain a portfolio of critical reflections, and complete a group project that addresses a current issue of diversity on campus. Students selected for the fellowship must be sophomores or juniors during the academic year and have a 3.0 GPA or higher. Strong candidates will demonstrate an interest in diversity leadership and articulate a desire to benefit from and contribute to the fellowship.
