Movimiento Latino
Movimiento Latino is a visitation program for admitted Hispanic/Latino/@/x high school students. Founded at the University of Georgia in the Spring of 2008, the purpose of this program is to expose prospective Bulldogs to diverse individuals and key locations throughout our campus that will assist them in their decision to commit to the University of Georgia. Throughout the program, students and their families will interact with various UGA faculty, staff, students, and campus leaders.
Our sincerest hope is that from attending the Movimiento Latino Visit, prospective Bulldogs and their families will recognize all of the amazing resources and support that our institution provides students. In particular, we hope that they will see how students with diverse identities can cultivate community, gaining a strong sense of belonging here at the University of Georgia.
We will host our 2023 Movimiento Latino Visit on April 22nd, 2023.
